PMI

Hello, Today i'm going to do a PMI. My favourite part of the week was when we did Korfball.  My second  favorite part of the week was doing a google form about what we wanted to do for winter sports.  My third favourite part of the week was playing 4 square with my friends at playtime. I found something interesting and it was playing my dads way of four sqaure.  Thank you for looking at my slide!!!!!! Matilda!!!!!

Don the eel man

Good Afternoon Everyone,   Today we learnt about eels with Don these are some facts that I learnt 1 He worked for NIWA  2 They have slime on their body so they can swim through things without getting stuck 3 The LONGEST eel is 2 centimeters long     4 They have a lateral line to sense and feel things      5 Long fins spend a lot of time hiding  6 They suck there food in whole if it is small  7 They spin around in circles to get all the flesh off of them   8 Eels eat ducklings baby birds rats and mice  9 They evolved from other fish and they can get really old  10 They cut their ear bones out to see how old they are 11 Females are bigger than male eels  12 They lay 7 to 20 million eggs  13 Baby eels are called leptocephalus   14 They change in shape that is called metallosis   15 You normally find baby eels in hydro dams  16 An eel would try to eat a crab  17 You can look at an eel and if its bottom is red that means its been eating crab  18 Eels

Things about Sudan

As-salam alaykum, (Peace be with you) This morning we listened to Phil and Janet the missionaries of Sudan at the church here are some facts that we learnt today:  #1 The Nile river goes from Uganda all the way through South Sudan #2 There are up to 400 to 500 people in Juba  #3 There are 65 different languages including English  #4 They use pounds not dollars  #5 100 pounds in Sudan is 30 Cents  #6 In Sudan they normally don't send their kids to school #7 To go to school in Sudan they have to shave their hair  #8 Their man food is aseda  #9 They normally have scars on their face to tell what tribe they're in       this was made in 2015            this is worth 30 cents Thank you for reading my blog i hope you enjoyed it  Matilda          

Our Water Webinar

Bonjour, Et que dieu vous benisse. This morning we learned and participated in a Water Webinar and here are some facts i learnt this morning  1. Aquifers can never run out because the water cycle keeps going 2. Native plantings soak up nitrogen  3. Salt water can be made into freshwater  4. Fossil water under Africa. what is it? It's so far underground we can't reach it   We don't have it in NZ  5.
